Yes. BYOI (Bring Your Own Infrastructure) mode is Apache 2.0 open source. There is no software license fee, no usage limits, and no credit card required. You pay only for your own infrastructure costs (compute, storage, etc.).

x402 is a machine-to-machine payment protocol built on the HTTP 402 status code. In Cloud Managed mode, every agent call is priced in USDC on Base L2. You pay only for what you use — no subscriptions, no seats, no enterprise contracts.

The minimum transaction cost in Cloud Managed mode is $0.01 USDC. This covers the Intake Warden validation and basic pipeline execution. Additional agents add their per-row costs on top.

How does per-row pricing work?

Each agent has a per-row price. For example, Sentinel Tag costs $0.00010 USDC/row. If you process 1 million rows with Sentinel Tag enabled, the cost is $100 USDC. Costs are aggregated across all enabled agents.

The Sloppy Agent Tax is a penalty applied when your data quality is poor — high quarantine rates, frequent schema drift, or repeated security violations. It incentivizes data producers to send clean, well-structured data.

Yes. You can run some agents in BYOI mode (free) and route specific workloads through Cloud Managed for agents you don't want to self-host. The pipeline is modular.
